Intensive Courses
OneToOne Driver Training
understand that the driving test is getting harder and longer. You must
now reach a very high standard to pass the new test, which is why our
courses are specially designed to help you reach that high standard.
Intensive courses
are an ideal way to learn to drive. Rather than spending the odd hour
over the next few months, consider spending several days, of up to 5 hours
a day, and taking a test at the end.
The day will typically
start around 09:00 with approximately 2 hours tuition, a break for lunch,
followed by another 2 hours tuition, a short break, and a final hour of
tuition.
Over the course of
several days, your driving will range from small back streets to High
Street and even dual carriageway.
At the end of the
course you may be given a mock practical test by another qualified instructor
to prepare you for your actual test.
Intensive courses
are available without the inclusion of the actual practical test should
you just wish to get a better start with your driving.
Finally, we have had
many happy pupils, we hope you are to be our next one.
What is an Intensive
course?
It eliminates the frustrating hour- long weekly lesson that seems to go
on forever. With the introduction of the new longer test, weekly lessons
will now take even longer to get to test standard.
How is it so effective?
It overcomes the problems associated with weekly lessons, namely re-teaching.
On average it will take you 15 minutes to get back to where you left off
the previous week. Instructors can arrive 5 minutes late and finish 5
minutes early! Before you know it your lesson is over!
How long will I need them?
We offer courses to suit all driving abilities and ages. You already should
have a good idea of your learning ability, however, we work on an hour
for every year of your life. Remember it gets more difficult as you get
older.
How are your courses structured?
We structure our courses to get the best performance together with rapid
improvement from our pupils. We operate a 2 tier system to give the best
possible chance of passing your test first time. Choose the one to suit
you, bearing in mind the more tuition you receive, the better driver you
will become. There are no short cuts. All tuition is "One to One"
and the full course syllabus as laid down by the Driving Standards Agency
is followed to the letter.
What about the
theory test?
You must pass the Theory Test before you can take the practical test.
A self study booklet can be purchased from any major book retailer. To
book the Theory Test by phone call 0870 01 01 372, the fee is £15.50.
Study hard - as there are over 40,000 failures each year. The test is
computer based and results will be given at the end of the test.
