Advanced Driving

A one (£25) or two hour (£50) session can be arranged to assess your driving on all types of road and then further sessions can be tailored to concentrate on the areas you need more experience with or feel less confident about.

Advanced motorists can expect:

  • Reducing car insurance premiums with selected insurance companies.
  • Giving you confidence to cope with driving in all conditions.
  • Improving your ability to read the road and react to hazards in a planned and systematic way so you can enjoy smooth progress, good concentration and above all increased safety for all.
  • Offering various membership services.
  • A reduction in fuel costs and saving on maintenance costs due to incorrect driving i.e. brakes, suspension and tyres etc.

OneToOne instructors are highly motivated, fully qualified and registered with the Driving Standard Agency (DSA). To ensure continued success all instructors are monitored and undergo regular refresher training.

We offer the individual or company high quality training in advanced driving. Drive our modern vehicles or learn in your own or company vehicle.

We help to re-educate drivers on modern-day driving techniques and bring them up to speed on current legislation. This helps reduce incidents, accidents and running costs.

We give training and advice for the following examinations, or just for your own personal satisfaction.

  • Diamond Advance Motorist
  • Institute of Advance Motorists (IAM)
  • Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA)

There are many reasons for accidents but did you know that over 85% of all traffic accidents are caused solely by driver error, and account for over half of all accidental deaths in Britain. Traffic accidents are also the largest single cause of deaths in Britain. Traffic accidents are also the largest single cause of death and injury to young adults.

In this country our current "L" test allows a candidate to make up to 15 minor (driving) errors over a route not exceeding 6 miles and taking less than 42 minutes to complete.

We initially recommend a two-hour assessment lesson costing £36.00 to assess your current level of driving competency.

We can then point out any areas that need improvement. We also recommend that you re-read your "Highway Code" and a publication called "Roadcraft" which is published by the stationary office. You will then be given a short time to hone your current skills before commencing a course of advance lessons individually tailored to your needs.
